Who is Deon Meyer

Deon Meyer, né en 1958, est considéré comme l'un des auteurs de romans policiers les plus célèbres d'Afrique du Sud. Il a débuté comme journaliste et a publié son premier roman en 1994. Il vit à Melkbosstrand avec sa femme et ses quatre enfants. « Le Cœur du chasseur » a remporté le prix ATKV de prose, une récompense littéraire sud-africaine très convoitée. Aux États-Unis, le roman a été classé parmi les dix meilleurs thrillers de l'année. Parallèlement, son roman « Le Policier triste » a été publié par Aufbau Taschenbuch Verlag.
